Next-Generation Presence Simulation

Our daily behaviors at home vary. Some wake up at 5:00 AM, others at 8:00 AM, and some even around noon. Each of us has unique habits—some go to the bathroom after waking up, others to the kitchen. Our weekdays also differ—on weekends we rest, while during the week we work at different hours, and our children come home from school at various times. Every home has its individual rhythm, which is difficult to replicate.

At LuON, we have developed a next-generation presence simulation system that faithfully replicates the daily behaviors of household members during your absence, copying your unique pattern. Simply have the household members use the lighting as usual for just seven days, and the luonOS system will learn their habits. When you activate the presence simulation, the system will faithfully replicate the daily behaviors of all residents.

The LuON system understands that our habits differ depending on the day of the week. Therefore, it analyzes patterns from the entire week to accurately replicate your typical behaviors, regardless of the day and time. If you activate the simulation on Friday at 11:00 AM, the system will automatically start the simulation from the Friday pattern. This makes the presence simulation natural and extremely authentic.

Thanks to the next-generation presence simulation designed by LuON, you can make your simulated presence almost tangible and natural during weekend getaways or vacations, to the point where standing in front of the house, you might feel like you are actually inside.

Complete Lighting Replication

The presence simulation designed by LuON replicates the exact behavior of lighting, without omitting any significant events. The system replicates actions such as turning lights on and off, adjusting brightness, changing colors, and the color temperature of LuBulb bulbs. Additionally, the system can replicate the use of LuScenes, the scenes designed by us.

If you enjoy reading a book every evening in your favorite chair with a specially prepared reading scene, that will also be simulated. If you like to relax in the evening with the "Spring Flowers" scene, that too will be replicated. This ensures that your lighting naturally and authentically reflects your presence, regardless of the time of day, hour, or day of the week.

100% Privacy and Security

From the very beginning of its operation, the luonOS system has implemented numerous mechanisms that have allowed us to design one of the most advanced presence simulations in the world, guaranteeing complete privacy and security for each user. This includes direct HomeKit communication between the LuBase central unit and the LuHome app, the complete absence of external servers, memory encryption with a unique password set by the user, no logging in or need to create a user account, remote system access secured by Apple, and one of the latest and highly efficient processors designed by Espressif—the ESP32-S3.

All these elements have enabled us to design a next-generation presence simulation that offers functionality unavailable elsewhere while operating entirely locally. The presence simulation does not require internet access, is resistant to power outages, and can withstand router or other network infrastructure failures.

Presence Simulation Now Available

The next-generation presence simulation is now available for all users of the LuBase central unit and LuBulb bulbs as a software update. To use the presence simulation, it is necessary to enable activity history in the system settings. If activity history has been enabled on your central unit for more than 7 days, you can start using the presence simulation immediately. Otherwise, you need to enable activity history and use the lighting for 7 days—after which the simulation will be available for activation.
